What is Career Development?

Career Development (often referred to as career counselling) is a practice that will help clients to know and understand their own self-motivations and the steps to successful employment so that they can make appropriate decisions about their future career, education, and other important life decisions. Career development is not only making a decision about a college major or what a student wants to do when they graduate. Career Development helps clients narrow the focus of their goals, realize their strengths and understand the process of hiring.
